A well established and growing refrigeration services company is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join its team. The company specialises in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment across the North-East and North Yorkshire, delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Refrigeration Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and install commercial refrigeration equipment
• Work on:
• Plug-in refrigeration storage cabinets
• Back bar bottle coolers
• Automatic ice machines
• Walk-in chiller and freezer cold rooms
• Display cabinets with remote condensing units
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Complete installations and commissioning work to industry standards
• Undertake occasional overnight stays where required
• Accurately complete service reports and job documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations

Refrigeration Engineer Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications or certifications would be advantageous
