Position SummaryThe Head of Procurement Direct Materials will lead the Category Strategy, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management of all direct materials valued at about $1.5B per year globally. This role will drive innovation, cost efficiency, and supply assurance across global operations, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI and advanced analytics to transform and optimize procurement strategies, risk management, and supplier performance.
The Head of Procurement Direct Materials will lead a team of 45+ professionals and will partner closely with internal SVP's of Quality, Engineering, R&D and Manufacturing to ensure execution of supply strategies.
This leader will be highly influential with Teva's strategic suppliers, engaging at C-Suite levels to ensure stability of supply, competitive total cost and presenting Teva as a customer of choice to leading companies in the industry.
