About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils with a range ofadditionalneeds, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism (ASD), and Processing or Learning Difficulties (LD). You will work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and build essential skills. This role is key to creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels encouraged, valued, and equipped to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised one-to-one and small-group support that meets each pupil's individual needs.
Adapt resources, activities, and learning materials to ensure they are accessible, engaging, and appropriately differentiated.
Follow strategies outlined in EHCPs and individual support plans to help pupils make steady, meaningful progress.
