We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who is available at short notice and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Managing supplier queries via email and phone
  • Processing BACS and cheque payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with month-end duties as required
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and filing

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger role
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach

  • Available immediately or at short notice
  • Reliable, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
