Marks Sattin are proud to be partnering with a fast-growing business based in Mirfield to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly finance team in a business that continues to expand.

You'll take full ownership of your own ledger, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Strong communication skills are key, as you'll be liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing.

For this role, our client will offer up to £27,000, hybrid working (1 day a week from home), early finish Fridays (3:45PM) and 25 days holiday! This is a 12 Month FTC to start from May 2026!

Responsibilities:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Matching and processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies



What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
