We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious hotel based in Leicester, LE19. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated chef looking to work within a professional, high-quality hospitality environment.

Position Details

• Role: Chef de Partie
• Location: Leicester, LE19
• Shift Pattern: Afternoon shifts
• Pay Rate: £15.49 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your designated section and supporting the senior kitchen team in delivering exceptional food standards across hotel dining, events, and banqueting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes consistently
• Manage your section efficiently during service
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Support junior kitchen staff and assist with training where required
• Ensure stock rotation and minimise food waste
• Work closely with the wider kitchen brigade to maintain smooth service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis/Sous Chef experience
• Experience within a hotel or high-volume hospitality environment preferred
• Passion for fresh food and high standards
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Food Hygiene certification desirable
