Reed Business Support are recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager on behalf of our valued client, based in Maidstone. This Senior Operations Manager opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment. As the appointed Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily operations.

About the Role:

• Providing strategic and hands-on leadership across day-to-day operational activity within a logistics environment
• Acting as a senior point of contact for internal management teams, suppliers, and key external stakeholders
• Overseeing operational performance, compliance, and service delivery against agreed KPIs
• Managing workflows, resource planning, and operational reporting to support business objectives
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction
• Ensuring health, safety, and operational procedures are followed consistently

About You:

• Proven experience in a senior operational or management role within logistics, distribution, or a similar sector
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Confident using Microsoft Office, operational systems, and performance reporting tools
• Proactive, resilient, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment

Salary & Working Pattern:

• £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support operational demands
