About the School
This brand-new specialist school is due to open in late 2026 and will provide a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious environment for children and young people aged 5-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
With a planned capacity of 72 pupils, the school’s vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational learning environment where every learner is supported to achieve their full potential. Strong relationships, high expectations and inclusive practice sit at the heart of the school’s ethos.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new provision at a pivotal stage of development and to help shape outstanding SEND practice from the outset.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SENDCo to lead and champion provision for pupils with complex and additional needs.
As SENDCo, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality, inclusive education across the school. Working closely with teaching staff, families and external professionals, you will ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
This is a highly impactful role within a specialist SEMH setting and offers the opportunity to influence strategic development, staff practice and pupil outcomes.
