The Opportunity
Joining a high-performing team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate and insightful financial information alongside senior stakeholders. This is a varied position offering exposure to management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement, making it ideal for someone keen to progress and build strong technical and commercial expertise.
Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking business, you'll gain hands-on experience across financial reporting, systems and stakeholder engagement, with genuine opportunities to broaden your experience.
Hybrid working - 3 days WFH
Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals and prepayments
* Assist with budgeting and reforecasting processes, including detailed variance analysis.
* Produce accurate and timely financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
* Complete balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and control.
* Support cost analysis initiatives to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
* Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the wider finance team.
The Candidate
* Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or AAT / QBE (or equivalent), with experience in a similar finance role.
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
* Experience working with financial systems (SAP or similar ERP advantageous).
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive, organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Solid experience within reconciliations, with exposure to balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting preferred
* Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
