TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and growing law firm seeking a dependable, proactive, and organised individual to join its Real Estate Finance team as a Post Completion Legal Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced and collaborative team that advises both lenders and borrowers on refinancing and property acquisition matters. The team is known for its supportive culture, high-quality work, and modern approach to legal services.

Based in either the Cheltenham or Worcester office, you will provide vital post-completion support to a number of fee earners, helping to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing applications for registration at Companies House
  • Preparing SDLT/LTT returns
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding Land Registry requisitions and related queries
  • Compiling and organising both hard copy and electronic documentation
  • Providing lender clients with updates on post-completion formalities and responding to queries
  • Maintaining post-completion spreadsheets and updating fee earners where appropriate
  • Acting as a key point of contact for administrative and business support requirements relating to post-completion matters
  • Anticipating the needs of the wider team and providing proactive support where required

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working within a client-facing environment
  • Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
  • A proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented approach
  • Prior administrative experience is desirable
  • A legal qualification is not essential
