They’re looking for a Credit Controller who can step in, take ownership and bring both structure and confidence to the finance function during a busy period.

The Role:

As a Credit Controller, you’ll play a key part in keeping cash flow healthy and operations running smoothly, balancing attention to detail with strong communication across the business.

• Managing and collecting outstanding debts in a timely and professional manner
• Allocating incoming payments and handling daily banking activity
• Maintaining and reconciling sales ledger accounts
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries
• Producing regular reports with clear actions
• Communicating with internal teams on payment status and risks
• Supporting improvements across credit control processes
• Ensuring records are accurate, organised and audit ready
• Assisting with wider finance and administrative tasks

This isn’t a passive finance role. You’ll be visible, trusted and relied on.

• Previous experience as a Credit Controller is essential
• Confident communicator, able to handle conversations with professionalism and clarity
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues early
• Able to prioritise effectively and manage a busy workload
• Commercially aware, understanding the impact of cash flow
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas
• Proactive, solutions focused and comfortable working independently
