We are partnering with a market-leading insurance organisation to appoint an experienced Finance Director to lead financial control, reporting and treasury oversight within a highly regulated environment.

Your new role
You will act as a trusted business partner to the leadership team and Board, with accountability for custodial treasury activities, client money oversight, statutory and regulatory reporting, and high-quality management information. The role supports strategic decision-making through robust forecasting, budgeting and performance management.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead custodial treasury operations, cash management and investment oversight
• Own regulatory, statutory and government reporting, ensuring full UK compliance
• Deliver strong financial control, SOX-aligned governance and audit engagement
• Produce insightful monthly, quarterly and Board-level reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Build, develop and lead a high-performing finance team

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong background in financial control, treasury and management reporting
• Experience in regulated and/or custodial environments desirable
• Proven ability to operate at Board level and influence senior stakeholders
• Commercial, analytical and comfortable working at a pace.
