Primary School Teaching Assistant

Join our friendly primary school as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and committed to supporting children with additional learning needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide targeted support for students with additional needs to enhance their learning and development.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring materials are appropriate for all students.
• Support the emotional and social development of pupils, helping them build confidence and resilience.
• Help maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure consistent support and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
• Patient, understanding, and empathetic nature to cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Basic qualifications in English and Maths.
• Enhanced DBS check required, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
