Business Development Manager - Estate Agency (Cheshunt, Hertfordshire)
Salary: Up to £30,000 basic + Uncapped Commission - OTE £45,000+ in Year 1, rising significantly year on year.
Hours Full/time or Part-time: full-time is Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 6:00pm (1 in 4 Saturdays - 9:30am to 4pm - negotiable with a day off in lieu during the week) Part-time - will consider school hours for working mums & dads or anyone looking for a part time role - 4 full days - 5 days during school hours - flexible

About the Role
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our clients thriving estate agency team in Cheshunt. You'll play a key role in driving new business growth across their Sales and Lettings departments, identifying and developing opportunities to expand their market presence and client base.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships over the phone and in person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities for both Sales and Lettings.
  • Make a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day (depending on your working hours) to potential clients, landlords, and vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to promote agency services.
  • Identify potential instructions, valuations, and viewings through effective lead generation.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Lettings teams to ensure smooth handover and follow-up of leads.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database of prospects, contacts and call back diary.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining high service standards.
About You
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role - estate agency experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to handle high call volumes.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a desire to succeed and grow within the business.
  • This role would be ideal but not limited to a 2nd jobber who is looking for long term career prospects.
