We are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Specialist to join a well-established organisation in Swindon. This role is crucial for managing the global payroll process across 5 international offices. If you have a strong background in payroll management and are looking for a dynamic role, this position might be perfect for you.

Start Date: ASAP

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Collate data from Sales and Line Managers for monthly payroll input.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to ensure all data is uploaded within required deadlines.
  • Monitor and check overtime forms for compliance with policy and working time directives.
  • Manage timely delivery of payroll information to the payroll provider and ensure employees are paid on the predetermined date.
  • Adhere to international payroll requirements and manage the Aviva Pension Scheme, including adding new starters and uploading monthly contributions.
  • Maintain the relationship with the payroll provider, escalating any issues to the relevant Finance Manager.
  • Manage payroll forecasting based on headcount and pay rates, and provide this data to the management accounting team.
  • Collect and approve data for commission payments from sales teams and ensure all variable pay data for office staff is collected.
  • Review all draft payroll data and obtain sign-off.
  • Handle all global payroll queries and provide accurate annual data for budgeting requirements.
  • Ensure legal compliance in payroll processes, including year-end procedures and tax reporting globally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPP qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in administering an auto-enrolment pension scheme.
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive data.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in interacting at all levels.
  • Driven by success, with a track record of exceeding deadlines.
  • Willingness to undertake further learning through formal training provided by the organisation.
