Job Title: Council Tax Officer

Job description: Venn Group have been approached by a Local Authority in the South West to recruit 3 Council Tax Officers. The vacancy will be running for 3 months with a possible extension.

Duties:

• Responsible for all aspects of Council Tax including recovery
• Manning the phones and dealing with customer queries
• Setting up and closing council tax accounts
• Applying for relevant discounts, exemptions and disregards
• Using Civica OPENRevenues

This is a fully remote role.

Hourly Rate: £25 per hour through an umbrella company
