Sales Executive

This role focuses on pipeline generation, market research and relationship-building within the construction and renewable energy sectors. You will work with architects, developers, consultants, M&E contractors and end users, using tools such as Glenigan, LinkedIn, CRM systems and AI-enabled platforms to identify and develop new opportunities.

You’ll also support senior colleagues in maintaining existing client relationships and encouraging repeat business as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new opportunities using Glenigan, LinkedIn, planning portals and AI tools
  • Research and map key contacts across target organisations
  • Conduct outreach, arrange calls, meetings, CPDs, presentations and site visits
  • Carry out follow-ups after meetings and quotes
  • Attend industry events and network with key stakeholders
  • Maintain CRM records and provide pipeline updates
  • Work closely with sales, design, operations and marketing teams

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in sales, business development or account management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using LinkedIn and research platforms (Glenigan desirable)
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple leads
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability or technical solutions
  • Ability to commute to the Nuneaton office once per week (more during initial training)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
