Full-Time Occupational Therapist – Private

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health service in Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established forensic mental health setting, supporting patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Role Details:

• Position: Occupational Therapist
• Location: Charlwood, Surrey
• Contract: Full-Time, Locum / Ongoing (to be confirmed)
• Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions to service users within a secure mental health environment, supporting rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group OT interventions
• Complete assessments, care planning, and risk assessments
• Contribute to MDT meetings and collaborative care planning
• Support patients in developing daily living and functional skills
• Promote recovery-focused therapeutic activities

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience within mental health settings (forensic experience desirable)
• Strong communication and MDT collaboration skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a secure environment
