Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Gloucester and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Ad Hoc / Flexible Shifts - 1-5 shifts per week

Pay Rate (Rolled Up Holiday Pay): Days £18.49 – £19.61 per hour / Nights £19.05 – £22.13 per hour

(Standard PAYE rate is also available)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking professional and flexible HGV Class 1 Days or Nights Drivers for clients across the Gloucestershire area. Ideal for drivers looking for Ad hoc or ongoing work casual, temporary, part-time, or fill-in shifts, this role offers the chance to work with a variety of reputable clients on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled deliveries or collections as required
• Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and within legal compliance
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs
• Representing the company and clients in a professional manner

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
• A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations
• Reliability and flexibility to accept short-notice shifts
• Min 3 months Class 1 Driving experience preferable
