Nursery Teacher - Part Time (3 Days per Week)

A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Putney is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team on a part-time basis from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive EYFS setting where play-based learning, early development, and pupil wellbeing are at the centre of the curriculum. The school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership, and a collaborative Early Years team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the Nursery class across 3 days per week, delivering engaging and nurturing learning experiences while supporting pupils at a key stage in their development.

The Role Will Involve:

• Delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Planning, assessment, and monitoring pupil progress
• Supporting pupils' communication, language, and social development
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment
• Working closely with support staff and parents to support pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching within Early Years
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Be nurturing, organised, and proactive in their approach
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
