About the Role

This role offers the chance to specialise in sensitive and rewarding areas of law, supporting individuals and families through complex legal processes. You will handle a varied caseload with a focus on guardianships, capacity matters, and representation in court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing applications for guardianship and related court orders
• Representing clients in court and liaising with counsel where appropriate
• Advising clients on capacity, welfare, and financial matters
• Working closely with families, medical professionals, and local authorities
• Ensuring the highest standards of client care and ethical practice

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Private Client work, or a Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor looking to develop in this area
• Demonstrable interest in guardianships and court-based work is essential
• Previous experience in court proceedings or advocacy is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail
