Location: Derbyshire & occasional travel to Nottingham
Working Pattern: Hybrid 2 days on-site
Contract: 9 months FTC or day rate option with potential to go permanent

Salary: 64,000 + 8000 car allowance pro rata

Overview

An interim opportunity for an experienced transactional finance leader to oversee a high-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function within a large complex organisation undergoing transformation

You will lead a team of approximately 80 with responsibility for operational performance process improvement and strengthening controls across a largely outsourced processing environment


Key Responsibilities Summary

  • Lead AP and AR teams through two direct managers overseeing around 80 staff
  • Manage high volume transaction processing approximately 80,000 invoices per week
  • Improve cash flow performance reduce aged debt and aged payables
  • Strengthen financial controls governance and supplier customer relationships
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Support wider finance and transformation activity
