About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales & Business Development Executive to join a successful and growing business operating within the electrical sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercially driven individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and delivering a high level of customer service.

The role will involve managing and developing a portfolio of customers, proactively contacting new and dormant accounts, and identifying opportunities to increase sales and market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and develop existing customer spend
  • Identify and win business from competitor suppliers
  • Support sales forecasting and business development planning
  • Promote product ranges and increase brand awareness
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
  • Attend customer meetings when required
Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience within an internal sales, telesales, or business development role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A confident and proactive approach to sales
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and strong customer-focused mindset
  • Ideally product sales but not essential.

Experience within the data networking or electrical wholesale sector would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
