Temporary Laboratory Technician

Full-time | Temporary (minimum 1 month, likely to be extended)

A well-established diagnostics laboratory is seeking a Temporary Laboratory Technician to support routine microbiological testing during a busy period.

This is a hands-on role carrying out daily laboratory testing of samples in line with SOPs and quality standards. Ideal for candidates with practical lab experience who are looking for short-term work with the potential for extension.

Key requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience conducting routine laboratory testing
• Comfortable with sample handling, aseptic techniques/routine testing and following SOPs
• Background in microbiology, food, environmental or veterinary testing preferred
• Must be able to drive – site is not accessible by public transport
• Available to start at short notice

Working pattern:

• Monday–Friday (some weekend availability may be required)
• Full-time hours
