Senior Operations Coordinator (with 2 days WFH after 6 months probation is passed)

The Operator & Senior Operator is a pivotal member of our client operations team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the execution of trades, managing logistics/shipping and ensuring seamless coordination with various stakeholders.  Monitoring and enhancing operational processes to maximize efficiency, minimize risks and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

General tasks and responsibilities include such as:

• Providing oversight and leadership for the day-to-day operations, ensuring processes are executed smoothly and efficiency
• Issue and review spot and long-term purchase and sales contracts basis trader recaps.
• Coordinate the delivery planning and linking of all purchases and sales, ensuring highest cost effectiveness and optimization of volumes in line with the contracts. Address and resolve complex operational issues that may arise during the delivery process
• Liaise with Finance and Credit on the financial instruments required, such as letter of credits, shipping terms, credit insurances, storage warrants and/or any other financial requirement
• Maintain contact with tank stakeholders, ensuring product quality and availability when needed, providing an up-to-date inventory overview and monthly forecast
• Taking the lead in case of transport damages, product contaminations or other product insurance related matters
• Correct and timely input of data and details related to trade deals, barge movements, Q&Q reports and event dates into relevant spreadsheets
