Management Accountant - Career Progression - Study Support Available

We are working with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded accountant to take on a broad and impactful role, supporting financial reporting, planning, and business partnering activities within a dynamic environment.



The Role
Reporting into the senior finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information and insights to support business performance and decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary
  • Providing financial analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance and challenge
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators and identifying trends and risks
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
  • Assisting with year-end processes and audit requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and business initiatives

The Person
You will have:
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or working towards qualification
  • Experience in a management accounting or finance business partnering role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A confident and collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement
