Senior Accountant - Accountancy Practice
Harrow (Hybrid)
£40,000 - £55,000 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Harrow in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practice professional to manage a varied client portfolio while working closely with Managers and Partners in delivering high-quality accounts, tax, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business clients
• Act as the main day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
• Prepare and review management accounts
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations and CT600s
• Review VAT returns and advise on compliance matters
• Support on personal tax and partnership tax returns
• Assist with capital allowances and MTD requirements
• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance
• Support client onboarding onto cloud systems such as Xero

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• 3 - 5 + years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and corporate tax
• Good working knowledge of IRIS and Xero
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
