We are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive specialist setting in the Wakefield area. Due to continued expansion of the school, there are multiple opportunities for passionate and committed individuals to join the growing support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and interventions
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Help create a structured and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor and record pupil progress
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Requirements
  • Essential: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • A strong understanding of supporting ASC, SEMH, or complex needs
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships and adapt to individual needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
