Barton House Care Home is a specialist 24 hour nursing service supporting 15 adults living with complex mental health conditions. Set within a homely, supportive environment, the home focuses on person centred care, stability and meaningful daily living, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and individual support.
Activities Coordinator
Role Overview
As Activities Coordinator, you will plan and deliver structured, meaningful activities that support residents’ mental wellbeing, emotional stability and daily routine. You will create a balanced programme of group and one to one engagement that encourages participation while respecting individual needs and boundaries.
You will build a strong understanding of each resident’s interests, history and clinical needs, ensuring activities are appropriate, therapeutic and tailored. Your approach will support confidence, reduce isolation and promote a sense of purpose within a consistent and safe environment.
Working closely with the care and clinical teams, you will contribute to a positive and stable atmosphere across the home. Your role will have a direct impact on residents’ quality of life, helping to create engagement, routine and enjoyment in everyday living.
