A highly respected specialist educational provision in Yeovil is seeking an exceptional SEND Teacher to join its committed and forward-thinking team on a full-time basis from September 2026, with the possibility of an earlier start available.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to work within a specialist setting supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with a diverse range of additional needs. Working hours are typically 8:40am until 3:30pm, although some variation in finishing times may occur depending on operational requirements and wider school activities.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans.

The setting supports pupils with a variety of additional needs including autism spectrum conditions, severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory needs, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
The Ideal CandidateApplicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) and demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices. Experience within SEND settings would be highly advantageous, although teachers from mainstream backgrounds with a genuine passion for specialist education are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
