A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting an Export Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm and paying £29,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Daily management of all Export Bookings
• Ensuring client’s needs and expectations are met
• Assisting with sales leads that come into the department
• Oversee and coordinate multi-modal export shipments, ensuring timely delivery
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and other relevant export standards to ensure all shipments meet legal requirements.
• Liaise with 3rd party logistic providers, carriers, customs authorities, and internal departments to facilitate smooth export operations.
• Manage CRM software for lead generation, customer communication, and sales management activities
• Negotiate rates and terms with logistics providers and suppliers.
• Support sales teams in B2B sales initiatives by providing accurate data entry, shipment updates, and logistical support.
• Assist in the development of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Maintain detailed records of export transactions, shipment statuses, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.
• Booking and handling of general export bookings and enquiries
• Managing collections/overseas deliveries and customs documents
• Invoicing for export department
• Ensuring all costs and shipments are accurately logged in the system

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Export Administrator position:

• Air, Sea and Road export experience within Logistics distribution and supply chain industry
• Familiarity with relevant regulations related to exports and international shipping standards.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience liaising with overseas agents and coordinating international shipments
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
