Designer - Must have façade/cladding experience

Location: Remote - travelling to sites in Hertfordshire & North London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings using relevant specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and capture photos to support your designs.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Commercial, and Site management teams to track design and quality issues.
• Communicate with manufacturers, structural engineers, and architects as necessary.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and revise assigned drawings efficiently.
• Liaise with project teams and distribute essential documentation.
• Resolve technical queries and recommend solutions.
• Assist with site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure timely information is available for site setup from start to finish.
• Train and advise site management and subcontractors as needed.
• Measure and monitor KPIs for site management and subcontractors.
• Attend regular meetings with site teams to stay aligned.
• Update subcontractor database and facilitate procurement and ordering.
• Compile information for relevant standards for clients and funders.

Must have:

• Basic CSCS card required.
• Essential experience with facades, EWI, cladding, and rainscreen.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (3D AutoCAD/SketchUp/Revit optional).
• Competent in MS Excel, MS Word, Project Probe, and Outlook.
