We’re looking for a passionate Senior Residential Children’s Home Manager to lead a nurturing, child-centred home in Sheffield. You’ll also provide professional support to other Registered Managers, helping to drive excellence across the region.

What You’ll Lead

As Senior Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the full running of a children’s home and ensure outstanding care

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team

  • Drive high standards in safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted readiness

  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, schools, and health professionals

  • Support children’s education, wellbeing, and personal development

  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to ensure a stable, high-quality service

  • Champion continuous improvement and a positive, supportive culture

This is a role for someone who leads with heart, clarity, and ambition.

What You Bring

  • Level 5 Leadership & Management 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, including 1 year at senior level

  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and confidence in managing risk

  • A proven ability to lead teams and inspire high-quality practice

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • A commitment to child-centred, trauma-informed care
