Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time | September Start

Location: Gorton

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Gorton that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.

The Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to reach their full potential. Your key duties will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and resources
• Taking part in ongoing professional development to continually refine your teaching practice

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from teachers who can demonstrate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 5 or across Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• A secure understanding of the National Curriculum and current teaching approaches
• Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork abilities
• Confidence in using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
