Assistant Accountant

Hull | 5 days per week onsite | Up to £32,000

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the production of monthly management accounts

Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining clean, accurate ledgers

Assisting with accrals and prepayments

Working closely with the Finance Manager on reporting and analysis

Getting involved in process improvements and day to day finance operations

What they’re looking for:

Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Finance Assistant role

Someone studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA or looking to start

A proactive mindset, someone who asks questions and wants to improve things

Good Excel skills and confidence working with systems
