Our client close to Heathrow is looking for a Customer Service Agent
• Working within the customer service team you will be looking after some of the most well-known reputable clients within the Aviation Industry
• Handling customer service enquiries via phone, web portal or email including monthly pre-bookings for our regular clients
• Providing the clients with post-flight and tracking information
• Correctly booking selected flights for our clients in terms of transit time and price
• Liaising with the sales and accounting team about existing accounts
• Ensuring that all enquiries are handled promptly and that all confirmations are sent within ample time
• Updating and maintaining the internal reservations system
• Undertake regular permanent bookings for our top clients
• Handle critical issues through liaison with client station managers, airport authorities and internal departments to effectively deal with situations
• Maintain effective communication with all external and internal staff/clients connected to the airline’s operation, to ensure effective operational delivery
• Ability to make essential decisions and take responsibility
• To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company
• Ensure the accurate processing of freight documentation in accordance with all customer airlines operational procedures, Handling Briefs, and Service Level Agreements. Including special handling e.g. HUM, DGR, VUN, VAL, Radioactive Material
• Ensure that all carrier specific requirements are handled correctly in accordance with the appropriate procedures
• To monitor GHA, security process, including x-ray processing and ETD requirements for airline product
• Adopt a proactive work ethic planning to anticipate and prevent handling issues
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with some slight staggered start times to be introduced
Salary up to £30K depending on experience
