Salary: £31,220 - £34,860

The Aurora Group is one of the largest providers of SEND educational and care services in the country, supporting over 1,200 children, young people and adults, and employing over 1,500 staff spread across 27 services around England.  

We're currently looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator.   Whilst the role is home based, there is a requirement to travel once a month to Twigworth, Gloucestershire where our Central Office provides financial support, leadership and governance to the group as well as a number of our sites across the country.

The Role:

You will be supporting the financial operations manager raising customer invoices, tracking payment, managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments to maintain a healthy cashflow. 

Main duties:

  • Raise sales invoices for each student
  • Manage the shared accounts receivable inbox and resolve customer queries
  • Maintain the Schools Database
  • Assist with bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of client templates and maintain sales ledger records
  • Monitor and reconcile payments received and balances due on client accounts
  • Ensure collection of outstanding funds is made in a timely manner and that all client queries are dealt with promptly

  • An outgoing and confident character with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Strong Excel Skills and ability to handle large amounts of data
  • GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
