Location: Hillingdon, Middlesex

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 for a Junior, (up to c.£45,000 for a more Senior Paraplanner level)

Working Pattern:

  • 4 days in the office, WFH Fridays

  • After settling period (c. 3–6 months): 3 days office / 2 days WFH

We are working with a well-established wealth management and financial planning firm in Middlesex who are looking to hire a Trainee or Junior Paraplanner to join their growing advice support team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing paraplanning exposure who wants to develop into a fully competent Paraplanner within a structured, supportive environment.


The Role


You’ll work closely with Financial Advisers on a pooled basis, supporting the advice process through research, analysis, and report preparation. Candidates must ideally already have some paraplanning or technical support experience.

The firm has a strong track record of developing junior paraplanners, with clear progression to full paraplanner status within 12–18 months, depending on experience and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support advisers with technical research and analysis
  • Assist with preparation of suitability reports and advice documentation
  • Carry out product and fund research
  • Support client reviews and annual review preparation
  • Work closely with advisers (approx. 1 paraplanner to 2 advisers)
  • Liaise with internal admin/support teams (non-technical work handled separately by the back-office support team)
  • Ensure work is accurate, compliant, and delivered to a high standard


What They’re Looking For
  • Some existing paraplanning or technical support experience (essential)
  • Level 4 Diploma preferred, but will consider candidates with 4–5 ROs and clear evidence of progression
  • Strong understanding of the advice process
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Willing to commute by car (office is not close to a train station)

They would also consider a fully qualified Paraplanner if the experience and salary expectations align.


Salary & Benefits
