Overview

We are currently seeking a Customer Relationship Executive to join our client’s team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, managing their own diary, and building strong relationships with customers in a face-to-face environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing and developing relationships with major corporate and public sector customers.You’ll act as a primary point of contact for customers, working closely with the Account Management team to deliver a seamless, high-quality service while identifying opportunities to grow and retain business.


The Role


Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting both new and existing customers to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
  • Negotiating contract terms to ensure continuity of business
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Planning and managing your own diary to maximise productivity
  • Visiting customers that are difficult to engage remotely, resolving complaints and strengthening relationships
  • Making confident, on-the-spot decisions to resolve challenges while protecting the company’s commercial position


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Full UK driving license required
  • Previous experience in customer service / relations or a similar role
  • Strong customer relationship and complaint resolution experience
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload using a CRM system
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and IT skills
