Job Title: Commercial Finance Controller

Location: Berkshire (Hybrid Working)

About the Opportunity

We are working with a well-established, internationally recognised consumer goods business to appoint a commercially driven finance leader into their UK Finance team.

Our client is a global organisation with a strong portfolio of well-loved consumer brands, and a reputation for investing in their people and culture.

This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.

The Commercial Finance Controller - UK will lead financial planning and analysis, management reporting, and act as a strategic business partner to the commercial, channel, and brand teams - driving the budgeting, forecasting, and Latest Estimate (LE) processes across the full UK P&L, while spearheading Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives to maximise margin and commercial efficiency.


What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading the full P&L planning cycle - budgeting, forecasting, quarterly LE, and Long-Range Plan - with clear management of Risks & Opportunities
  • Owning Commercial Close and delivering sharp management reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Acting as strategic finance business partner to Sales and Marketing, translating data into decisions on pricing, trade investment, and margin improvement
  • Driving Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and S&OP process improvements to boost forecast accuracy and commercial efficiency


What We're Looking For

  • Solid commercial finance or FP&A background, ideally gained within FMCG or a fast-paced multinational environment
  • Confident business partner with the gravitas to challenge and influence senior commercial stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with RGM, pricing strategy, trade spend, and promotional analysis
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with strong Excel and ERP skills; a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
