Warehouse Operative – Wigan

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative – Wigan to join our well-established client based in Wigan.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent, ongoing work within a busy and supportive warehouse environment.

This role would also be suitable for applicants with experience as a:
• Warehouse Operative
• Picker Packer
• Order Picker

Shifts

• Shifts scheduled between 04:00 – 20:00
• Flexibility required, including weekends and bank holidays

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include, but are not limited to:

• Working in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment
• Picking, packing, loading, unloading and replenishing stock
• Handling goods safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
• Completing paperwork accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area throughout the shift
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Reporting any damaged goods, pallets or equipment immediately

Essential Skills

The essential skills required to be a Warehouse Operative are:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable with manual handling throughout the shift

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience

Training Provided

• Full site training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
