Data Integration Engineer VP

Canary Wharf

Hybrid (5/10 split)

6-month contract

Up to £700 per day (via Umbrella)

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in Canary Wharf. They are seeking a Data Integration Engineer VP to work with them on a 6-month contract.

Education: Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Data Science, or IT (Master’s desirable in related or business fields such as Maths or MBA).

Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of data integration, PL/SQL/T-SQL, and data governance including quality, security, and compliance.

Experience:

· Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and DataStage ETL

· SQL, ETL tools, data modelling, data marts, and integration tools (e.g. SSIS, DataStage, Alteryx)

· Regulatory reporting in banking environments

· Data transformation and modelling

· Cloud storage exposure

· Exposure to Azure and Databricks (desirable)

· Experience with AQR/ECB reporting (desirable)

· Middleware technologies (Kafka, IIB, MQ) (desirable)
