Role Summary:

This role would suit a proactive and commercially minded Residential Property Lawyer looking to take the next step within a respected and supportive environment. You’ll manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while playing an active role in client relationship management, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the continued success of the wider team. The firm offers a professional yet approachable culture with a strong emphasis on client care and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, offering exposure to high-quality work and autonomy.

• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity while maintaining excellent client service standards.

• Supervising and mentoring support staff, helping to develop junior team members and strengthen team capability.

• Supporting business development and networking initiatives, contributing to the continued growth and profile of the firm.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures to maintain high professional standards.

• Maintaining billing targets and supporting colleagues across the wider property team where required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with Residential Property experience.

• Minimum 4 years PQE within residential conveyancing.

• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential transactions.

• Confident communicator with excellent client care skills.

• Experience supervising or mentoring support staff would be advantageous.

• Comfortable using case management systems and modern legal technology.

• Commercially aware and motivated to contribute to business development activity.
