Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)

REED Education is delighted to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school in Cambridgeshire to support the recruitment of a Food Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

The school is seeking a passionate and practical Food Technology specialist who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be joining a collaborative department that values creativity, strong outcomes, and high-quality learning experiences for students.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students to develop practical skills, confidence, and creativity
  • Manage practical classrooms safely and effectively
  • Contribute positively to the wider Design & Technology department

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
  • Unqualified teachers with strong, recent UK secondary school experience will be considered
  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
