Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Shipley to recruit an Assistant Cost Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive finance team.

• Monitor, investigate, and report on inventory adjustments
• Support SOX controls, compliance, and testing processes
• Update costs and investigate costing queries
• Produce monthly variance analysis and maintain standard costs
• Prepare journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Forecast cost of sales, margins, and inventory levels
• Support stock takes, WIP checks, and annual cost revaluations

• AAT qualified (or studying towards CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong understanding of double entry and costing principles
• Experience in a busy finance environment with tight deadlines
• Manufacturing and ERP/MRP system experience beneficial
• Confident Excel user with strong analytical skills
• Organised, detail-focused, and a collaborative team player
