Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Up to £65,000 + Performance Bonus

Permanent | Full Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed children’s residential home supporting young people aged 8–17 with EBD. This is not a turnaround role — the home already has a settled structure, experienced staff team, and strong senior leadership support in place.

The successful candidate will provide strong, visible leadership while ensuring high standards of safeguarding, care, compliance, and operational management in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold Ofsted registration for the home
• Lead and develop the staff team
• Maintain safeguarding, compliance, and inspection readiness
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and placement stability
• Support positive outcomes for young people
• Manage recruitment, supervision, staffing, and performance
• Build relationships with families and external professionals
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory documentation

About You

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in senior residential childcare leadership
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
• Experience supporting young people with EBD and complex needs
• Confident leader with excellent communication skills
