Senior Management Accountant | Sittingbourne / Hybrid (4 and 1) | £60k - £70k DOE + Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

• Drawing directly from the job description, your core responsibilities will include:
• Leading month-end processes including prepayments, accruals, journals and inter-departmental postings
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, delivering clear commentary and variance analysis
• Conducting weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the board
• Reviewing nominal codes to identify and resolve coding issues
• Supporting balance sheet control account reconciliations with robust schedules
• Playing a key role in a major digital transformation project, including data cleansing, migration and process redesign
• Assisting the Finance Business Partnering team with budgets and forecasts
• Producing insightful analysis to support monthly performance reviews
• Driving continuous improvement across reporting, controls and analytical processes

What you’ll bring:

• Formal qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Extensive experience in management accounting within a complex or fast-moving environment
• Strong working knowledge of SAP
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• A solid understanding of financial controls, governance and compliance
• Advanced Excel capability
• A proactive mindset and the confidence to challenge, improve and influence
