Role: Sales Support Administrator
Location: Stockport (SK1)
Salary: £28-32k plus bonus
We are a Stockport-based finance broker supporting UK businesses with funding solutions including equipment leasing, hire purchase, and business loans.
We are looking for a Sales Support Administrator with strong organisational, communication, and customer-facing skills to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a sales function while maintaining high administrative standards.
Role Overview (60% Sales Support / 40% Administration)
This role is primarily focused on supporting the sales team to drive new business, manage client relationships, and ensure a smooth customer journey from proposal through to completion, alongside key administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support (60%)
- Assist the sales team with preparing and processing new finance proposals
- Convert proposals into live agreements using Goldvision
- Liaise with customers to guide them through the application and documentation process
- Conduct verification calls for e-sign documentation
- Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers throughout the deal lifecycle
- Send deal completion emails and monthly deal interval updates
- Provide updates to sales team on deal progress and pipeline status
- Respond to customer queries including settlements and document requests
- Support business development by ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new clients
Administration (40%)
- Prepare and check finance documentation, ensuring accuracy of calculations and customer details
- Liaise with funders to complete documentation and manage deal progression
- Check and process incoming paperwork (finance documents, supplier invoices, etc.)
- Manage payouts: verify documentation, scan/save signed documents, update Goldvision
- Chase funders regarding supplier payments and ongoing deals
- Carry out Experian ID checks and Land Registry searches
- Send thank-you emails to customers and suppliers
- Assist with end-of-lease processes and termination communications
- Take card payments over the phone
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent telephone manner and customer communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- High level of numeracy and attention to detail
- Experience supporting a sales team or working in a customer-facing role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
