Bond Moran Recruitment Ltd
Accounts Payable | Based in Surrey | £30 to £32,000p.a. + Bonus | Full-Time (On-site)
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next challenge?
Do you thrive in a fast-moving environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference?
Could you see yourself playing a key role in transforming a finance function from the ground up?
If so, this could be the role for you.
Our client, a PE-backed manufacturing and field service business based in Surrey, is looking for a hands-on Accounts Payable professional to join their small but growing finance team. Reporting to an engaging Finance Manager, you'll have real ownership of the end-to-end AP process at a pivotal moment in the company's journey - this is a business going through exciting change, and they need someone who can help professionalise the way finance operates.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely posting of supplier invoices and credit notes, managing and resolving queries in close collaboration with internal departments and suppliers, and reconciling supplier statements. You'll also take ownership of onboarding new suppliers, maintaining master data, processing payment runs, and handling expense claims and credit card postings — all while keeping the AP mailbox and payables records in good order. During month-end close and other peak periods, you'll lend support to the wider team as needed.
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in an accounts payable role, be AAT qualified or currently studying, and be comfortable working across Excel and accounting systems. Just as important is the personal side - you'll be organised, deadline-driven, and the kind of person who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told.
If this is you please apply ASAP as the recruitment process is likely to move swiftly.
