A respected, values-led law firm in Leeds is looking for an experienced Care Legal Secretary to join its supportive childcare law team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support meaningful work that positively impacts vulnerable individuals and families.

Working closely with an experienced Care Solicitor, you’ll provide key secretarial and administrative support within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Typing legal and court documents, correspondence and file notes
• Preparing Legal Aid applications
• Managing files and updating the case management system
• Handling client enquiries and arranging appointments
• Preparing court bundles and supporting fee earners
• Using BigHand digital dictation
• Managing emails, post and time recording

About You

• Previous experience in care law or a similar legal environment
• Strong typing and organisational skills
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Proactive, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
